What you type

Every tool works in your browser. Prices, item names, dates and everything else you enter are never sent to a server, and nothing is uploaded. CSV files you import are read in the browser and never leave your device. Calendar (.ics) and CSV downloads are made on your device too.

What is stored on your device

Some tools save your lists in your browser’s local storage, so they are there next time on this device: the price watchlist under couponrook-watchlist, the pay-later planner under couponrook-bnpl and the return tracker under couponrook-returns. The currency symbol you pick is saved under couponrook-symbol, and a light or dark theme choice under couponrook-theme. When you press “Check this deal” on the watchlist, that item’s prices are passed to the checker in this tab’s session storage under couponrook-check and removed as soon as the checker reads them. Nothing else is stored, and the site does not use cookies. “Clear all” on each tool deletes its list, choosing “Auto” removes the theme choice, and clearing your browser’s site data removes everything.

Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies or track you across sites, and it never receives what you type into the tools. There are no ads and no other trackers.

Links and hosting

Links to other sites, such as the sources and the two recommended services, take you to sites with their own privacy policies. The pages are served by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles the network requests your browser makes to load them. The fonts and scripts come from this site, not from third parties.
